CultSwitch is a web service, to automate business data administration inside hotel guides, reservation systems, on-line indexes and print media. All texts, pictures, room categories, availabilities, etc. will only be entered once and can be used further without processing them again. They can also be used through any medium. Here, your own yield-management permits you to systematically manage availabilities and prices into several distribution channels.

So you can guarantee the uniformity of your business presentation in all media and you can stop time-consuming manual administration of several channels. In addition, you could be present with many different distributors to significantly increase your sales volume.

How does CultSwitch work?

CultSwitch is an on-line tool for global and standardized data exchange between offerers, distributors and marketing executives in the tourism and hotel industries. As a software spanning service, CultSwitch connects PMS and distribution systems worldwide and enables free data exchange in OTA format.

CultSwitch is 100% OTA-compatible. Since its foundation in 1999, the Open Travel Alliance (OTA) has committed itself to the mission of changing the tourism industry into a global market place for products and services via webbased technologies. To make this achievable, a universally valid communication process on the basis of XML was developed. This process can represent and exchange any touristic information with its approximately 500 different XML schemata. As a member of Open Travel Alliance (OTA) we are participating in the development of the OTA standard and we guarantee you a 100%-compatible and future-proof technology. CultSwitch is universally applicable and can be implemented into any software (Example: VelHotel / Velox Pension).

How much does CultSwitch cost?

Programming of an Interface
The connection of a PMS-system or of a distributor is carried out for free by Cultuzz. We make a toolkit available, through wich the accordant XML-schemata can be automatically generated. We gladly assist you in the connection of your system to the OTA standard.

Transaction costs
• for PMS systems' offerer: free of charge
• for offerer of distribution systems: free of charge
• for hotels: 0,8% of the generated booking volume
